Under the Future 100 initiative, which is being developed by the UAE Ministry of Economy, the Government Development, and the Future Office, only 20% of founders who applied for the support program are women, said H.E. Ohood Al Roumi, UAE Minister Of State For Government Development And The Future.
The UAE, Israel, and Bahrain have the highest equality scores in the Gulf Cooperation Council (Global Gender Gap Index). Specifically, the UAE has the highest index, at 0.712. The country ranks 71st globally, up three places from last year.
